Honda Center Unveils $1 Billion Transformation with Luxury Upgrades and Opera Box Seating
Anaheim's Honda Center is undergoing a massive $1 billion privately funded renovation project, spearheaded by the Samueli Family, owners of the Anaheim Ducks. The comprehensive transformation, managed by OC Sports & Entertainment (OCSE), will continue through 2027 while keeping the venue operational throughout construction.

Key improvements include:
- A new five-story South Entrance featuring a grand arrival experience
- High-impact digital display for outdoor viewing parties and community events
- New escalators for improved guest circulation
- Ten new food and beverage concepts with self-service technology
- New opera box suites and renovation of 68 existing luxury suites
- All-inclusive premium club with upscale experiences
- Three new parking garages increasing capacity by 60%
- Four new entry plazas with distinct social spaces
The parking enhancement includes two general parking garages opening by October 2025, featuring an innovative all-inclusive model that eliminates parking passes—the first of its kind at a U.S. arena.
"This is more than just an investment in a venue—it's an investment in Anaheim and the future of Orange County as a global destination for live entertainment," said Bill Foltz, CEO of OC Sports & Entertainment.
Honda Motor Co., approaching its two-decade partnership with the venue, expressed pride in the facility's transformation into a premier sports and entertainment destination serving both the community and visitors to Orange County.
