Sean 'Diddy' Combs in Federal Custody After Grand Jury Sex Trafficking Indictment
Sean 'Diddy' Combs has been arrested by federal authorities in Manhattan following a grand jury indictment. The charges, currently sealed, are believed to include racketeering and sex trafficking, according to sources close to the investigation.

The arrest comes after federal raids on Combs' homes in Beverly Hills and Miami, and months of grand jury testimony from various accusers. Combs was taken to the FBI Field Office in Manhattan for processing.
His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, released a statement expressing disappointment with the prosecution, emphasizing Combs' cooperation with investigators and his voluntary relocation to New York in anticipation of the charges. The statement defended Combs as a "music icon" who has dedicated three decades to building his empire and supporting the Black community.
The indictment follows multiple sexual assault lawsuits against Combs, beginning with accusations from his former girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura, who filed a lawsuit last year alleging sexual and physical abuse. Since then, several others have come forward with similar allegations.
Combs, a prominent figure in hip-hop since the 1990s, is known for launching the careers of artists like Notorious B.I.G. and Mary J. Blige. The US Attorney's Office in New York has not yet responded to media requests for comment.
