Following Homeland Security raids on two homes belonging to Sean "Diddy" Combs, his attorney Aaron Dyer has issued a statement defending the artist against what he calls an "unprecedented ambush."

Federal agents executed search warrants at Diddy's Miami and Los Angeles residences as part of a sex trafficking investigation, seizing phones and computers. The raids coincide with multiple civil lawsuits alleging sexual abuse and sex trafficking against the 54-year-old rapper.

According to Rolling Stone, five individuals have been interviewed in New York regarding a sex trafficking and RICO criminal investigation. Combs was later seen at a Miami airport customs office, where his attorney confirms he cooperated with authorities.

Dyer's statement strongly criticizes the "military-level force" used during the raids and emphasizes that Combs:

  • Was not detained or arrested
  • Has no travel restrictions
  • Cooperated fully with authorities
  • Maintains his innocence

In a related development, Brendan Paul, described in a civil suit as Diddy's alleged "mule" for drugs and firearms, was arrested on drug charges while attempting to board the rapper's private jet. The charges currently appear unrelated to the main investigation.

The case continues to develop as both civil lawsuits and criminal investigations proceed. A notable addition to the investigation is the prosecutor who successfully tried Ghislaine Maxwell.
