Producer Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones, who filed a sexual assault lawsuit against Sean 'Diddy' Combs, faces potential defamation legal action from Daphne Joy over allegations of her involvement in sex work.

Joy, who is 50 Cent's ex-partner and mother to their 12-year-old son Sire, strongly denied claims that she received payment from Combs as a sex worker. The allegations emerged in Jones' lawsuit, which recently triggered federal raids on two of Combs' properties.

In response to the allegations, Joy released two Instagram statements. The first announced her intention to pursue legal action: "I am deeply hurt by the lies in Rodney Jones' lawsuit. The claim that I am a sex worker is 100% false and character assassination. I am retaining an attorney to explore all legal remedies against both Rodney and his attorney."

Her second statement addressed 50 Cent directly, criticizing his public jokes about the Diddy investigation and revealing personal allegations of abuse. Joy stated that she and her son relocated to New York to be closer to Jackson, whom she accused of oppression, rape, and physical abuse.

Jones' lawsuit, filed in February and recently amended to include actor Cuba Gooding, Jr., alleges that Combs maintained several women on monthly stipends, claiming Joy received payments through his Love Records imprint.
