Madonna Faces Lawsuit After Fans Sue Over Two-Hour Concert Delays
Two concertgoers, Michael Fellows and Jonathan Hadden, have filed a lawsuit against Madonna, Live Nation, and the Barclays Center for a December 13 Celebration Tour concert that started over two hours late.

The lawsuit alleges that while the show was scheduled for 8:30 PM, Madonna didn't take the stage until after 10:45 PM, causing significant inconvenience for attendees who faced transportation challenges and next-day responsibilities when the show ended at 1 AM.
The plaintiffs claim "unconscionable, unfair, and/or deceptive trade practices," arguing that the defendants knew the show wouldn't start on time based on Madonna's history of late starts. They note that subsequent shows at the same venue on December 14 and 16 also began two hours late.
This isn't Madonna's first legal battle over late starts. During her 2019 Madame X tour, she faced similar lawsuits:
- Nate Hollander sued in Florida but later voluntarily dismissed the case
- Andrew Panos and Antonio Velotta sued in New York, reaching an unspecified settlement in July 2020

The current lawsuit seeks unspecified damages, citing breach of contract and deceptive practices. The case highlights ongoing concerns about concert start times and artist punctuality in the live entertainment industry.
