
Live Nation Shatters Records With $23.16 Billion Revenue in 2024
Live Nation has reported record-breaking revenues of $23.16 billion for 2024, with fourth-quarter revenue reaching $5.68 billion, exceeding analyst estimates of $5.67 billion.

- Concert attendance: 151 million fans (up 4%)
- Total events: Over 50,000 (up 9%)
- Concert revenue: $19 billion (up 2% from 2023)
- Adjusted operating income for concerts: $530 million (up 65%)
- Sponsorship adjusted operating income: $764 million (up 13%)
Looking ahead to 2025, Live Nation reports:
- Stadium shows pipeline up 60% through mid-February
- 65 million tickets already sold for 2025 concerts
- US stadium and arena tours selling through over 75% in first week
- Artists returning to tour showing double-digit growth in tickets and revenue per show
Venue performance in 2024:
- 60 million fans attended Live Nation-operated venues
- Premium offering revenue in amphitheaters up over 20%
- Significant growth in ancillary spending at major festivals
- Strong performance in North America and Latin America markets
CEO Michael Rapino stated that 2024 was live music's biggest year yet, with 2025 projected to be even stronger due to increased stadium shows and global concert pipeline.
Ticketmaster, Live Nation's subsidiary, processed 106 million tickets, representing a 3% increase from the previous year, primarily driven by concert activity.
