Devastating wildfires across Los Angeles have prompted multiple live event cancellations at major venues, including the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome, as the region battles five major fires.
The current situation is severe:
- 5 deaths reported
- 180,000 people under evacuation orders
- 1,300+ structures destroyed
- 60,000 structures threatened
- Three fires remain completely uncontained
Major fire details:
- Pacific Palisades Fire: Covers 27 square miles, hundreds of structures destroyed
- Eaton Fire: 16 square miles burned, 1,000 structures destroyed, 5 fatalities
- Sunset Fire: Recently contained in Hollywood Hills
- Hurst and Lidia fires: Partially contained at 10% and 40% respectively
