The lawsuit, filed in October, accuses Cooper of collaborating with Lanez to damage Megan's reputation through cyberstalking, emotional distress, and privacy invasion. This includes allegations of sharing deepfake nude images and spreading misinformation about the 2020 shooting incident, for which Lanez is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence.
Judge Altonaga has characterized Cooper's posts as "a campaign, not journalism." However, Cooper's attorney, Michael Pancier, emphasized that this ruling doesn't determine the case's outcome, stating that Megan must still prove her claims with credible evidence.
While pursuing legal action, Megan Thee Stallion has launched her premium tequila brand, Chicas Divertidas, offering both blanco and reposado varieties. The venture was inspired by a conversation with Beyoncé, who encouraged Megan to create her own alcohol brand rather than promoting others'.
Meanwhile, reports indicate that Tory Lanez is working on a new album during his incarceration, alongside his alleged involvement in the campaign against Megan Thee Stallion.
