YouTuber Tasha K Must Pay Cardi B $1.2M in Five-Year Bankruptcy Settlement Plan
YouTuber Tasha K has finalized a bankruptcy payment plan requiring her to pay Cardi B $1.18 million following their lengthy defamation legal battle. The court-approved Chapter 11 plan implements a strict five-year payment schedule.

Under the plan, Tasha K (Latasha Kebe) and her husband's company must pay approximately $300,000 annually for five years. While multiple creditors will receive payments, Cardi B is the primary recipient, owed $1.18 million of the total $3.91 million claim. The remaining balance can be pursued after the payment plan concludes.
The agreement includes a comprehensive non-disparagement clause prohibiting Tasha K from making any negative statements about Cardi B, her immediate family members, or her business interests. A monitoring system will be implemented to enforce these restrictions.
Despite the challenging circumstances, Tasha K expressed relief on YouTube about concluding the bankruptcy proceedings. Her YouTube channel is projected to generate $300,000 in 2025, according to bankruptcy plan documents.
Additionally, Tasha K has reportedly resolved a separate lawsuit filed by comedian Kevin Hart, though details remain private.
The case stems from defamatory videos Tasha K published in 2018, leading to a court battle that culminated in her May 2023 bankruptcy filing. A federal judge maintained that she remained liable for the defamation damages despite the bankruptcy petition.
