Sean "Diddy" Combs has filed a $100 million defamation lawsuit against NBCUniversal, Peacock, and Ample Entertainment over their documentary "Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy."

The lawsuit challenges serious allegations made in the documentary, which premiered on January 14th despite pre-release warnings from Diddy's legal team. According to the complaint, the documentary falsely accuses Combs of multiple murders, including those of:

  • Kimberly Porter (his former partner)
  • The Notorious B.I.G.
  • Andre Harrell (Uptown Records founder)
  • Heavy D

The suit states that these individuals died of natural causes, with the exception of Biggie Smalls, and calls the accusations "deeply distressing, offensive, reckless, and malicious."

Additionally, the lawsuit addresses claims that Diddy attempted to murder Al B. Sure!, explaining that Al B. Sure!'s medical issues were actually related to complications from bariatric surgery.

The legal action also refutes allegations about:

  • The existence of "Diddy tapes"
  • Claims of sex trafficking underage girls
  • Other "vile rumors" the documentary allegedly perpetuates

This lawsuit follows a separate $50 million defamation complaint against Courtney Burgess and attorney Ariel Mitchell for allegedly fabricating accusations against Combs.

A key concern raised in both lawsuits is that these allegations could potentially interfere with Diddy's right to a fair trial in his upcoming May criminal case.

The case emphasizes the documentary's alleged reckless disregard for truth and seeks substantial damages for what Diddy's team describes as "fake news of the most damaging kind."
