Conduction addresses a critical gap in music education, as millions of U.S. students lack access to music programs, while existing ones often struggle with outdated curricula and budget constraints.
The platform enables students to create digital songs and features:
- Beat making and composition
- Songwriting instruction
- Sheet music education
- Band integration
- Weekly classroom voting on student creations
- Local musician partnerships for music video production
The funding will support:
- Development of proprietary music software
- Expansion of corporate partnerships
- Growth across Pennsylvania and U.S. schools
"Today's students want to become producers, DJs, songwriters, and beatmakers," says Joe Maggiore, CEO and co-founder of Conduction. "We created Conduction to refocus music education on today's student values while still incorporating critical national music education standards."
The platform currently partners with dozens of schools and districts, with over 100 schools ready to implement the solution. Conduction also works with corporations to sponsor music education programs through cost subsidization.
