Call Her Daddy Video Episodes Move to YouTube Exclusively as Part of SiriusXM Deal
Alex Cooper's hit podcast 'Call Her Daddy' and other shows from her Unwell Network are moving their video content from Spotify exclusively to YouTube, while audio versions will remain available across all platforms. This shift includes popular shows like Hot Mess with Alix Earle and Pretty Lonesome with Madeline Argy.

The transition follows SiriusXM's acquisition of Cooper's podcast network for up to $125 million. Cooper announced the change via Instagram, emphasizing that fans can now watch all new episodes on YouTube for free. This move comes after Spotify had already released its audio exclusivity rights last year, though they maintained video exclusivity until now.
The shift to YouTube aligns with SiriusXM's strategy to expand ad revenue while potentially reaching a broader audience. Cooper's podcast has been consistently ranked #2 behind Joe Rogan on Spotify since its 2018 launch. The deal represents a significant investment for SiriusXM, especially considering Spotify chose not to renew its previous $60 million three-year contract with Cooper in 2021.
Cooper expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, "I am beyond excited to work with SiriusXM. The Daddy Gang will always be my top priority, and with SiriusXM we will continue to find new ways to evolve and provide my listeners the best experience."
The transition marks a notable shift in the podcast industry's competitive landscape, with SiriusXM making aggressive moves to secure top-tier content creators while Spotify focuses on streamlining its video offerings with reduced advertising.
