Apple Music Classical Now Features Full Siri and CarPlay Integration
Apple Music Classical version 2.1 now includes full Siri and CarPlay integration, allowing classical music enthusiasts to access their entire library through their vehicle's infotainment system.

The update brings voice search capabilities in seven languages - English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Dutch - with more languages planned for future releases. Users can search for specific composers, artists, works, and instruments using Siri through CarPlay.
This integration comes almost a year after the app's initial launch in March 2023. Apple Music Classical, built on the acquired Primephonic platform, offers subscribers access to over five million classical tracks at no additional cost. The app features specialized classical music search functions, detailed metadata displays, and curated playlists.
While this update addresses a major feature gap, users continue to request additional platform support, particularly for macOS and Apple TV. The development timeline has been notably measured since Apple's acquisition of Primephonic in 2021, with the CarPlay integration initially appearing briefly last year before being removed and now properly implemented.
