
Weezevent Acquires Eventix: Amsterdam Ticketing Platform Rebrands as Weeztix

Amsterdam-based Eventix and French ticketing company Weezevent have merged, with Eventix rebranding as Weeztix while maintaining its independence. The merger strengthens their European ticketing presence while keeping separate product development tracks.
Weeztix will continue focusing on its open API ticketing technology, while event organizers can now access Weezevent's full suite of solutions, including:
- Accreditation systems
- Cashless payment services
- Access control systems
The merger comes after Eventix's January partnership with Spotify, allowing music organizers to list events directly on the platform with integrated ticket purchasing through Weeztix.
