TikTok's Global Live Fest is set to launch in London on January 16, featuring Swedish pop star Zara Larsson as the headline performer and Jason Derulo as host. The event will be streamed worldwide through TikTok Live.

According to TikTok Live head Adam Wang, the platform is revolutionizing creator-audience relationships through real-time engagement and community building. The Global Live Fest aims to showcase the platform's creative community and provide creators with new ways to share their talents and stories.

This event comes at a crucial time for TikTok, as the platform faces a January 19 deadline to be sold or risk being banned in the United States. In response, creators are actively diversifying their presence across other platforms like YouTube and Instagram. President-elect Donald Trump has requested Supreme Court intervention to delay the ban implementation, seeking time for a "political resolution" before his January 20 inauguration.
