Spotify has launched a new mobile feature allowing both Free and Premium users to create custom playlist cover art. The feature, currently in beta across 65 English markets, offers extensive customization options for personalizing playlist appearances.

How to Create Custom Playlist Cover Art:

  1. Open Spotify on your mobile device
  2. Select or create a playlist
  3. Tap the three-dot menu
  4. Choose 'Create Cover Art'
  5. Upload a photo or select from available options
  6. Customize with text, colors, effects, and artist stickers
  7. Save your creation

Important Notes:

  • Only one custom cover art can be saved per playlist
  • New covers override previous versions

Spotify has partnered with notable artists including Clairo, Jamie xx, and Arlo Parks, along with album artwork experts Imogene Strauss, Adrian Hernandez, and Cey Adams to enhance the feature's creative offerings.
