Songtradr and Vinyl Group have formed a strategic digital advertising partnership aimed at maximizing the value of their combined digital properties and audience reach.

Under the agreement, Vinyl Group will manage and sell advertising across Songtradr's portfolio of digital properties globally. The partnership is expected to significantly boost U.S. advertising scale, with projections indicating up to a 20x increase for Vampr, Vinyl Group's networking platform.

Key aspects of the partnership:

  • Vinyl Group will retain 50% of net proceeds from business generated under the agreement
  • The collaboration leverages Vinyl Group's existing advertising network
  • Integration includes Vinyl.com, Vampr, Jaxsta, The Brag Media, and Serenade

"We are confident this collaboration will drive significant value for our brands and audiences," stated Songtradr CEO Paul Wiltshire, whose company recently acquired Bandcamp.

Financial details reveal Vinyl Group's recent acquisitions totaled A$2.3 million in cash, with additional performance-based considerations for Serenade potentially reaching A$1.5 million in shares.

The market has responded positively to the partnership, with Vinyl Group stock (ASX: VNL) showing a 4.76% increase to A$0.11 per share, marking a significant recovery from late 2023 levels.
