Ty Dolla $ign Calls Out Apple Music for Not Featuring 'Vultures 1' Despite Billboard Success
Ty Dolla $ign has expressed frustration over Apple Music's apparent lack of promotion for 'Vultures 1', his collaborative album with Kanye West.

In a recent Instagram Story video, Ty demonstrated how the album was missing from Apple Music's featured sections, including 'New Music' and 'Best New Songs', despite only appearing in the Top Songs chart. This comes despite the album's successful #1 position on the Billboard 200 chart for two consecutive weeks.
The album's release has faced multiple challenges, including distribution issues and legal disputes over unauthorized samples. FUGA, a potential distributor, initially declined to release the album, though it was later uploaded through their platform's automated system, violating their service agreement.
Several artists have objected to their work being sampled on 'Vultures 1':
- Donna Summer's estate filed a lawsuit over an unauthorized sample in "Good (Don't Die)"
- Nicki Minaj refused to authorize her sample usage
- Ozzy Osbourne protested the use of an "Iron Man" sample during a listening party
The controversial release follows Kanye West's series of antisemitic statements in 2022, which resulted in the termination of his Adidas partnership and brought attention to previous instances of harassment and antisemitic remarks.
