After discovering hearing loss in his left ear during the recording of 'Seven Psalms,' Simon initially stepped away from live performances. However, working with the Stanford Initiative to Cure Hearing Loss and his production team, he has developed a new stage setup that allows him to perform in intimate venues with optimal acoustics.

The tour features an accomplished backing band including:

  • Caleb Burhans (viola)
  • Jamey Haddad (percussion)
  • Gyan Riley (guitar)
  • Mick Rossi (piano, keys)
  • Andy Snitzer (saxophone)
  • Nancy Stagnita (flute)
  • Mark Stewart (guitar)
  • Eugene Friesen (cello)
  • Steve Gadd and Matt Chamberlin (alternating on drums)

The tour begins April 4 in New Orleans and concludes August 3 in Seattle, featuring multiple-night stands in major cities across North America. Venues have been carefully selected for their acoustic properties to ensure optimal sound quality for both performers and audience.
