Megan Thee Stallion is currently signed to Warner Music Group after departing from her previous label, 1501 Certified Entertainment, in late 2023. This marked a significant change in her career after a lengthy legal battle with her former record label.

The Grammy-winning rapper announced her new deal with Warner Music Group in February 2024, making it her first major label partnership as a fully independent artist. Under this agreement, she maintains ownership of her masters and publishing while leveraging Warner's global marketing and distribution network.

Prior to Warner Music Group, Megan's label history included:

- 1501 Certified Entertainment (2018-2023)
- 300 Entertainment (2018-2023, distribution partnership)
- Roc Nation (2019-present, management only)

The artist's departure from 1501 Certified Entertainment came after a contentious legal dispute that began in 2020. The settlement allowed her to fulfill her contractual obligations and paved the way for her current independent status with Warner Music Group distribution.

Under her new deal, Megan releases music through Hot Girl Productions, her independent entertainment and management company, while utilizing Warner Music Group's extensive distribution network. This arrangement gives her greater creative control and ownership of her work while maintaining access to major label resources.

The "Hot Girl Summer" rapper's first release under the Warner Music Group deal is expected in 2024, marking a new chapter in her career with full creative and business autonomy.
