Live Nation to Cancel 50,000 Resold Oasis Concert Tickets in UK Crackdown
Live Nation and SJM are set to invalidate over 50,000 Oasis UK concert tickets due to unauthorized reselling. The affected tickets, approximately 4% of the 1.4 million total tickets sold, appeared on secondary ticketing sites at prices thousands above face value shortly after the initial sale.

Only tickets purchased through official channels (Ticketmaster or its partner Twickets) will remain valid. Live Nation emphasizes this action aims to combat profit-driven secondary ticket sales, noting that some major tours see up to 20% of tickets on unauthorized platforms.
Despite the invalidation warning, secondary ticketing website Viagogo plans to continue offering Oasis Live '25 ticket resales, claiming they serve a consumer need. The company reports that 2% of Oasis tickets are currently listed on Viagogo and StubHub.
The UK shows initially used dynamic pricing, causing some £150 face value tickets to rise to £350. Following fan backlash, Oasis announced their US tour dates would not implement dynamic pricing, acknowledging the UK pricing strategy as an "unacceptable experience" for fans.
Fans who purchased tickets through unauthorized resellers will be affected by the upcoming invalidations, and officials strongly advise against buying tickets from unauthorized websites due to fraud risks and potential cancellation.
