Live Nation has announced the discontinuation of its popular 'Lawnie Pass' program at outdoor amphitheaters across the United States. The program, which sold out in 2024, will not return for the 2025 concert season.

The $239 Lawnie Pass previously offered several benefits:

  • Fast-lane entry access
  • Personalized entry credential
  • Free parking
  • Unlimited lawn seating for approximately 25 concerts per season

Live Nation states they are "working on new and exciting programs" for the upcoming summer concert season, with previous Lawnie Pass holders getting first access to these new offerings.

This change comes alongside other recent modifications to the concert experience:

  • Mandatory $20 minimum parking fee (higher for premium options)
  • Ban on personal low-rise chairs
  • Required $15 chair rentals for lawn shows

This move follows Live Nation's pattern of using all-access passes to boost attendance at venues, then discontinuing them once numbers improve. Previous examples include the $59 Club Pass in 2022 and periodic $20 all-in tickets promotions.

The company promises to keep past Lawnie Pass holders informed about new programs and alternatives for the upcoming concert season.
