  • Enable creative programming risks

Success stories from grant recipients include:

  • The Spot on Kirk (Roanoke, VA): Created "Música y Cultura" series for Hispanic Heritage month
  • Bossa Bistro (Washington D.C.): Launched Bossa Tributary Project showcasing global musicians
  • Rebel Rebel Studio & Lounge (Berea, KY): Established Pop Pop! Emerging Artist Incubator Program

The organization's impact since 2020:

  • $4.1 million distributed
  • 210 grants awarded
  • 180 small music venues supported
  • Expanded to new states including Nevada, Kansas, and Georgia

In 2024, Live Music Society hosted their first Music in Action Summit, bringing together 31 grantee venues to share knowledge and foster collaboration.
