Kanye West and Bianca Censori made an unexpected appearance at the 2025 Grammy Awards, causing controversy with their red carpet arrival. Despite West's nomination for Best Rap Song, conflicting reports emerge about whether he was officially invited to the ceremony.

The 47-year-old rapper arrived with his 30-year-old wife and an entourage of approximately five people. West wore all-black attire, while Censori made headlines in a revealing sheer mini-dress after removing her black fur coat. The couple recreated poses reminiscent of West's Vultures 1 album cover during their photo session.

Reports conflict about their departure from the Crypto.com Arena. While some sources claim they were escorted out, others maintain the couple left voluntarily in a silver car after their red carpet appearance. According to Page Six, "He walked the red carpet and then got in his car and left."

This marked West's first Grammy appearance in ten years, with his last attendance dating back to 2015. Prior to the event, he notably unfollowed everyone except Taylor Swift on Instagram. West described his wife's controversial dress as "custom couture" designed "for the most beautiful woman ever, my love, my best friend, my wife" - a notable statement considering reports of their potential divorce just months earlier in October.

West's nominated song "Carnival," featuring Ty Dolla $ign, Rich The Kid, and Playboi Carti, ultimately lost to Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us" in the Best Rap Song category.
