Jay-Z Reveals He Filed 236-Page Extortion Lawsuit Against Sexual Assault Claims Attorney
Jay-Z has revealed himself as the anonymous plaintiff who filed a 236-page extortion lawsuit against attorney Tony Buzbee in November. The lawsuit comes in response to rape allegations made against the rapper in Buzbee's recent filing.

The allegations stem from a Jane Doe lawsuit, where a woman, now 37, claims she was assaulted by Jay-Z when she was 13 years old at a 2000 VMAs afterparty. She is one of over 200 alleged victims represented by Buzbee in cases against Sean "Diddy" Combs.
Carter's lawyer, Alex Spiro, has filed a response requesting the court compel Jane Doe to reveal her identity to proceed with litigation. The extortion lawsuit reveals that Buzbee has also accused Jay-Z of sexually assaulting a male minor.
In the filing, Jay-Z states: "These baseless accusations are nothing more than a weapon in a calculated plot to destroy Plaintiff's high-profile reputation for profit, despite the complete absence of any factual basis for such claims."
Buzbee maintains his innocence and has accused Jay-Z of orchestrating a campaign of harassment and bullying against him and his family through social media. Jay-Z's legal team has included Buzbee's social media posts in Monday's filing as evidence of alleged attempted blackmail and public defamation.
