Jane's Addiction canceled their Bridgeport, Connecticut show following a violent on-stage altercation in Boston between frontman Perry Farrell and other band members.

The incident, captured on video and shared on social media, shows Farrell screaming profanities at the crowd before physically confronting guitarist Dave Navarro. The situation escalated when crew members and bassist Eric Avery attempted to restrain Farrell, who responded by throwing punches.

Etty Lau Farrell, Perry's wife, explained on Instagram that the altercation stemmed from excessive stage volume drowning out Perry's vocals. According to her account, when audience members complained about not hearing Perry's voice, he lost control. The situation worsened during "Ocean Size" when Perry couldn't hear himself over the instruments.

The band has apologized to fans via Instagram, offering refunds for the canceled Connecticut show. While the Bridgeport date is canceled, remaining September and October tour dates currently remain scheduled, starting with Toronto on September 18.
