Italian Music Industry Secures Blocks Against Major Stream-Ripping Sites
The Italian Federation Against Musical and Multimedia Piracy (FPM) has successfully blocked six major stream ripping sites in Italy, working alongside the Italian Communications Regulatory Authority (AGCOM) and the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI).

Streaming now accounts for 58% of piracy activities, while downloads represent 32%. Live sports piracy saw a significant 30% increase between 2021-2022.
