WINHUB, launched in 2022, has already connected over 1,100 music professionals through events in major music hubs including New York, Guadalajara, Valdivia, and Sofia. The platform has facilitated online meetings with trade association members from 43 territories across five continents.
The new initiative will focus on creating practical cross-border relationships between Europe and global markets through targeted networking events:
- WINHUB Iberoamerica (April 24): Connecting professionals from Portugal and Spain with counterparts in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Paraguay
- Eastern Europe Focus Event (Autumn): Integrating Eastern European markets with the global independent music landscape
Nerea Serrano, WIN Community & Projects Manager, emphasizes that this EU-supported initiative will help build an interconnected global network empowering independent music businesses to thrive across borders.
Karla Rogožar, Impala Network Development, Sustainability and Project Manager, notes that WINHUB will become an integral part of their global collaboration activities as a recognized EU cultural network, helping strengthen the sector's diversity and competitiveness in the global market.
