In the Philippines' inaugural weekly chart, Dionela topped the rankings with "Marilag," released in November 2024, alongside two other tracks in the Top 10. Vietnam's first chart saw local artist Dương Domic claim the top position with "Mất Kết Nối," while Vietnamese artists dominated the top 10 with eight entries.

The charts for Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand will undergo rebranding as official charts. All six markets will feature weekly top 20 tracks, showcasing both local and international artists through a centralized platform.

The new Southeast Asian charts combine streaming data from major platforms including:

  • Apple Music
  • Deezer
  • Spotify
  • YouTube
  • Regional services (e.g., Langit Musik)

IFPI manages these charts in collaboration with national industry bodies:

  • ASIRI (Indonesia)
  • RIM (Malaysia)
  • RIAS (Singapore)
  • TECA (Thailand)

The data is prepared by BMAT following IFPI's global charts principles and methodologies, ensuring accurate representation of music consumption across the region.

Shridhar Subramaniam, President of Asia and Middle East at Sony Music Entertainment and Chairman of the IFPI Asia Regional Executive Board, emphasizes that these charts will serve as a crucial platform for connecting regional artists with global audiences while providing fans a curated destination to explore Southeast Asian music.
