Two major concert venues experienced fire-related incidents over the weekend, affecting performances by Journey and Disturbed. Both events resulted in property damage but no injuries were reported.

At Houston's NRG Stadium, Journey's performance was cut short during "Don't Stop Believin'" due to an electrical fire beneath the stage. The incident occurred during the second verse, causing sound failure and darkened projection screens. The venue's 70,000 attendees were safely evacuated after crew members rushed in with fire extinguishers. Houston Rodeo organizers announced they would provide updates about rescheduling and refunds.

In Chicago, Disturbed's pyrotechnics display at the United Center caused minor damage to the Chicago Bulls' six NBA championship banners. The venue confirmed they are working with the Bulls to repair the banners, which will be temporarily removed for the remainder of this season but are expected to return for the next season.

"While the banners will not be in place for the remainder of this season, we do anticipate them being back in place next season," stated United Center officials. The Bulls' next home game is scheduled for March 27 against the LA Lakers.

Despite the dramatic nature of both incidents, quick response from venue staff and proper safety protocols ensured no concert-goers were harmed at either event.
