Eventix Partners with Spotify to Sell Concert Tickets Directly Through Artist Pages
Eventix has announced a new integration partnership with Spotify, allowing event organizers to sell tickets directly through the streaming platform. This integration enables ticket sales across multiple channels on Spotify, with purchases linking directly to Eventix-powered ticket shops.

The partnership comes at a challenging time for the festival sector, with over 170 events cancelled in 2024 and signs of slowing sales for early 2025. While major festivals like Draaimolen (scheduled for September) and Paaspop (starting April 18th) are participating in the program, ticket promotion varies across different artists' Spotify pages.
Eventix CEO Joost Aanen emphasizes the strategic importance of meeting music fans where they already are: "This partnership is a step towards bridging the gap between artists and their audiences. It's about promoting your events where the fans are, and there's no better place for that than Spotify."
The integration builds upon Spotify's June 2022 Live Events Feed, which replaced the Concert Hub and features personalized event recommendations. Spotify currently partners with major ticketing platforms including Ticketmaster, See Tickets, and AXS, while collecting a commission on resulting sales.
In February 2024, Spotify also partnered with Bandsintown, which reported 7.5 billion concert recommendations and 230 million ticket purchase clicks in 2024. This expansion into live events aligns with Spotify's broader strategy to diversify its service offerings and strengthen connections between artists and fans.
