
Downtown Music Publishing Renews Publishing Deal with Alternative Icon Tori Amos
Downtown Music Publishing has renewed its partnership with acclaimed singer-songwriter Tori Amos, continuing to represent her complete body of work following their initial 2018 agreement.

Since her 1992 debut album "Little Earthquakes," Amos has established herself as a pivotal voice in alternative music, known for her classical piano training and poetic songwriting. Her hit songs include "Crucify," "Cornflake Girl," and "A Sorta Fairytale."
"For more than three decades, Tori has pushed creative boundaries and built a legacy of artistry and integrity," says John Witherspoon, Amos' Artist Manager. "Downtown has been a dedicated partner in honoring and amplifying that legacy."
Downtown Music Publishing has also extended agreements with several other influential artists and catalogs:
- George Gershwin, DuBose and Dorothy Heyward ("Porgy and Bess," "Rhapsody in Blue," "An American in Paris")
- Remi Kabaka (Afro-rock drummer, collaborator with Paul Simon, Hugh Masekela, Gorillaz)
- Tim Kellett (The Durutti Column, Simply Red, co-writer of "You're Not Alone")
- Les Claypool (Primus founder and bassist)
- Geoff Wilkinson (Us3 founder, producer of "Cantaloop (Flip Fantasia)")
- Brett Dennen (acclaimed songwriter)
