Post Malone has partnered with Mondelēz International to launch a limited-edition OREO cookie flavor, prompting criticism from PETA over the company's animal testing practices.

The exclusive cookie, released on February 3 for the Super Bowl, features an innovative swirled creme combining salted caramel and shortbread flavors—marking the first time OREO has created a twisted creme combination. Each cookie includes one of nine unique embossments inspired by Post Malone's world, including a special OREO x Posty vinyl design showcasing his discography. The packaging includes a handwritten note from the artist.

"Can't believe they let me make my own Oreo cookie," Post Malone shared. "So happy everyone gets to try the taste twist—hope you love it as much as I do, 'cause I think it's the best Oreo ever!"

PETA has criticized the partnership, citing Mondelēz International's continued use of mice in nutritional testing. According to PETA, the company conducts experiments where mice are fed human feces before being dissected for research purposes. While Mondelēz International implemented a partial ban on animal testing in 2018, they maintain the right to continue testing "when it is needed to advance fundamental knowledge in nutritional science."

PETA argues these experiments are both cruel and scientifically unreliable, given the physiological differences between animals and humans. The organization's campaign aims to inform consumers about companies' animal testing practices to encourage support for cruelty-free alternatives.
