Sean "Diddy" Combs' legal team is challenging evidence obtained during federal raids on his properties, claiming the search warrants were "unconstitutionally broad" ahead of his May trial.

The legal team argues that the government's warrants granted "virtually limitless authority" to seize evidence, including digital devices, iCloud accounts, and various records, based on the premise that "Mr. Combs' entire life was a criminal enterprise."

Their heavily redacted memo claims the warrants contain "frequent and patterned" misrepresentations and misleading omissions. The defense also alleges prosecutors are using "racist" laws to "police non-conforming sexual activity."

Combs, who faces federal charges including sex trafficking and racketeering, has pleaded not guilty. He remains held without bail at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center since his September arrest. If convicted, he could face life imprisonment.

His defense team, led by attorneys Marc Agnifilo and Teny Geragos, recently saw the departure of lawyer Anthony Ricco. Beyond the federal case, Combs faces multiple civil suits alleging assault and other crimes.
