West's recent posts included statements declaring himself "a Nazi," expressing admiration for Hitler, and refusing to apologize for previous antisemitic remarks. Schwimmer highlighted that West's 32.7 million X followers represent twice the global Jewish population, emphasizing the dangerous reach of his hate speech.

The Anti-Defamation League's CEO Jonathan A. Greenblatt condemned West's statements as "a sad attempt for attention that uses Jews as a scapegoat," warning about the real-world consequences of such rhetoric.

The American Jewish Committee expressed concern about the impact of West's statements on his millions of followers, particularly given the current rise in global antisemitism. They urged other influential figures, especially in entertainment, to denounce such hatred.

Several celebrities have joined in condemning West's remarks, including Meghan McCain and Piers Morgan. However, observers note that the overall response to West's antisemitism appears more muted compared to previous incidents.

Schwimmer's Instagram post emphasized that while hate speech cannot be prevented entirely, platforms can choose not to provide it with a megaphone, stating "Silence is complicity."
