Grammy-nominated artist Chappell Roan has separated from her management team at State Of The Art, led by Nick Bobetsky, as confirmed by former Ticketmaster CEO Nathan Hubbard on the Every Single Album podcast.
The split comes at a pivotal moment in Roan's career, following her four Grammy nominations including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist. The timing has sparked significant interest within the industry, with top managers actively pursuing representation of the rising star.
The 26-year-old artist has recently showcased new material, including an unreleased country-pop track "The Giver" during her Saturday Night Live debut, and "Subway" at the Governors Ball. These performances demonstrate her continued artistic growth despite the management change.
Roan has also gained attention for her stance on fan interactions, addressing concerns about boundaries and respect in the artist-fan relationship. "I don't agree with the notion that I owe a mutual exchange of energy, time, or attention to people I do not know, do not trust, or who creep me out — just because they're expressing admiration," she stated, highlighting broader issues faced by women in the entertainment industry.
