
Bandcamp Friday to Aid LA Wildfire Recovery: Platform Pledges 100% of February 7 Profits
Bandcamp will donate 100% of its revenue share on February 7 to MusiCares, supporting Los Angeles wildfire relief efforts for the music community. The initiative is backed by industry partners including A2IM, Harman, Lagunitas, Roland, Shure, Victrola, and WIN.

MusiCares provides preventive, emergency, and recovery programs to music industry professionals affected by natural disasters. Dan Melnick, Bandcamp's General Manager, emphasizes the importance of supporting LA's music community, as the wildfires have impacted everyone from musicians to producers and recording studios.
Bryan Biniak, President of Songtradr (Bandcamp's parent company), highlights how this collaboration demonstrates the industry's ability to unite and support artists during challenging times. To date, Bandcamp has generated over $131 million for independent musicians and labels through initiatives like Bandcamp Fridays.
