Apple Music and Amazon Music Launch Early Holiday Music Collections for 2023
Apple Music and Amazon Music are launching their holiday season offerings early this year, with distinct approaches to Christmas music.

Apple Music's Carols Covered Collection features fresh interpretations of classic holiday songs by contemporary artists, all available in spatial audio. The collection includes performances from 16 artists including Alice Merton, Lizzy McAlpine, and Tones and I.
Notable 2024 Carols Covered tracks include:
- Rachel Platten - "Jingle Bell Rock"
- Lizzy McAlpine - "Celebrate Me Home"
- The Linda Lindas - "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree"

Apple Music is also introducing a Classical Carols Covered playlist featuring exclusive performances by renowned classical artists:

- SANSARA - "Peace on Earth"
Amazon Music has partnered with Mariah Carey to celebrate the 30th anniversary of "All I Want For Christmas Is You." The collaboration includes holiday decor and tour merchandise, coinciding with Carey's Christmas Time tour starting November 6 in Highland, CA.
Both streaming services are offering unique holiday music experiences - Apple Music focusing on fresh interpretations and classical renditions, while Amazon Music celebrates a modern Christmas classic with Mariah Carey.
