Apple Launches Vision Pro Concert Series with Raye's Intimate London Performance
Apple has launched "Concert for One," a new Vision Pro series offering intimate musical performances in immersive video format. The series debuts with British singer Raye, recorded at London's Air Studios with a 20-piece band, premiering November 22nd.

The announcement follows the release of The Weeknd's "Open Hearts" experience, available through Apple Store Vision Pro demos. The series aims to give viewers "the best seat in the house" for intimate performances through Apple's Immersive Video technology.
To expand reach beyond Vision Pro's estimated 370,000 users (Q1-Q3 2024), Apple Music will stream Concert for One tracks with spatial audio support. Raye's performances of "Genesis" and "Escapism" are already available on the platform.
This initiative represents Apple's growing investment in exclusive content, joining other streaming platforms like Spotify and Amazon Music in producing platform-specific performances and recordings. While not a return to full streaming exclusives, it signals increased focus on original content production in the music streaming space.
Future Concert for One artists have not been announced, but more performances are expected throughout 2024 and beyond, potentially tied to major events like the Apple Music-sponsored Halftime Show.
