The new division allows AllTrack to collect mechanical royalties globally on behalf of its members, both directly and through international sister societies. This integration simplifies the royalty collection process for independent creators who previously needed to register with multiple platforms to collect their global mechanical royalties.

Key Benefits:

  • Unified collection of worldwide mechanical royalties
  • Coverage includes streaming, downloads, physical products, lyrics, and other copyright-protected uses
  • Single platform management for both performance and mechanical rights
  • Complete access to all forms of mechanical royalties, beyond what the MLC offers

"We're thrilled to expand our services to include mechanical rights, which typically represent a significant portion of a music creator's published income," said Hayden Bower, founder and CEO of AllTrack.

This expansion follows AllTrack's acceptance into CISAC (International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers) and its groundbreaking integration with TIDAL streaming service.

Understanding the Royalties:

  • Performance royalties: Compensation for song performances (live or on-demand)
  • Mechanical royalties: Payment for streaming, downloads, physical reproduction, and digital applications

This development marks a significant shift in the US music rights landscape, offering independent creators a more streamlined approach to royalty collection through a single, comprehensive platform.
