YouTube Real Stories has acquired the rights to stream "Leaving Neverland 2: Surviving Michael Jackson," the sequel to the controversial documentary about Michael Jackson's alleged sexual abuse. The film will premiere in March across the US and Canada.

The hour-long documentary follows Wade Robson and James Safechuck as they pursue legal justice and deal with the aftermath of going public with their accusations against Jackson. Director Dan Reed's latest film found its home on Real Stories after HBO declined to co-produce following legal disputes with the Jackson estate.

Little Dot Studios, owned by All3Media, will distribute the documentary through their premium YouTube channel, Real Stories. This platform choice aims to maximize accessibility, with Reed noting that YouTube allows the story to reach audiences "on their own terms."

The film will be available for free viewing in the US and English-speaking Canada, while Sphere Abacus handles international distribution. Key production team members include producer Marguerite Gaudin and editors Peter Haddon and Ben Hills.

Real Stories has previously hosted works from acclaimed documentarians Alex Gibney, Nick Broomfield, and Kim Longinotto, including notable releases like "Trapped: Cash Bail in America" and "Into Dust."
