Year-End Music Awards: Billie Eilish Takes Apple Music's Top Honor, Shaboozey Named Breakout Artist by SoundExchange
Billie Eilish secures Apple Music's Artist of the Year recognition for the second time, while Shaboozey receives SoundExchange's 2024 Breakout Artist award as year-end accolades begin rolling out.

Eilish's remarkable year included a second Academy Award, two Grammy Awards for the Barbie soundtrack, and the release of her third studio album "Hit Me Hard and Soft," which topped Apple Music's albums chart in 138 countries. She's also secured seven Grammy nominations this year, including Record of the Year.
"Since day one, Apple Music has supported by music and artistry, and I am both honored and humbled to receive this recognition as Artist of the Year this many years into my career," Eilish stated.
Shaboozey's breakthrough year featured his hit "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" and a collaboration on Beyoncé's "Cowboy Carter." He made history as the first Black artist to simultaneously top Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart and Hot 100.

- Grand Ole Opry debut (January 18)
- European tour (March 2025)
- North American tour conclusion in Philadelphia (December 16)
