Maddux, who led CD Baby for over a decade before joining Downtown in October 2020, will continue to serve as a consultant and advisor throughout 2024. His departure comes after playing a crucial role in several key initiatives, including:
- The strategic sale of CD Baby, AdRev, and DashGo
- Leading Downtown's M&A practice
- Overseeing the integration of FUGA and Curve
Downtown CEO Andrew Bergman acknowledged Maddux's contributions, highlighting his impact on the company's culture and business growth. The exact reasons for the departure remain undisclosed.
