The Black Keys have canceled their entire North American arena tour, announcing plans to rebook shows at smaller, more intimate venues. The decision follows the completion of their European and UK tour supporting their latest album, Ohio Players.

In a social media statement, the band assured fans that both Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney are well, explaining their desire to recreate the intimate atmosphere experienced at venues like Brixton Academy and the Zenith in Paris for their North American audiences.

All ticket holders will receive full refunds and get priority access when new dates are announced. The original tour was scheduled for September through November, with ticket prices ranging from $100 to $300.

The change comes after Ohio Players, released in April, debuted at No. 26 on the Billboard 200—their lowest commercial performance in nearly 20 years, compared to their previous album Dropout Boogie which reached No. 8.

The band remains scheduled to perform at the NASCAR Chicago Street Race on July 6, with new tour dates to be announced soon.
