Sony Music Publishing Signs Legendary Producer Mike Dean and M.W.A. Collective
Sony Music Publishing has signed a global deal with legendary producer Mike Dean and key members of his M.W.A. (Mike Will Arrive) producer collective, including Sean Solymar, Tommy Rush, and Sage Skolfield.

Mike Dean, a Grammy-winning producer, engineer, and multi-instrumentalist, has shaped contemporary music through his work with artists like Travis Scott, Beyoncé, Frank Ocean, Ye, and The Weeknd. His career began in the early '90s collaborating with southern rap icons like Scarface and UGK.
Notable achievements of M.W.A. members include:
- Sean Solymar: Produced the Grammy-winning "Jail" and worked with Nas, Latto, and Madonna
- Tommy Rush: Collaborated with Beyoncé and contributed to The Weeknd's Platinum-certified "Popular ft. Playboy Carti"
- Sage Skolfield: Recent work includes The Weeknd's "Dancing in the Flames" and HBO's The Idol soundtrack
The partnership aims to foster creative development of new talent through M.W.A., which Dean established in 2017.
