Sick New World 2025 Festival Cancelled: Metallica, Linkin Park Headlined Event Scrapped
The Sick New World Festival, planned for April 12, 2025, in Las Vegas, has been unexpectedly cancelled due to "unforeseen circumstances," according to festival organizers.

The highly anticipated festival was set to feature an impressive lineup headlined by Metallica and Linkin Park, alongside notable acts including:

- The Flaming Lips
- Ministry

- Acid Bath (first show in nearly 30 years)
- Cradle of Filth
- Orgy
- Cannibal Corpse
- Mastodon
Ticket holders who purchased through Front Gate Tickets will receive automatic refunds within 30 days. While specific reasons for the cancellation weren't disclosed, the organizers' statement suggests the festival may return in the future, noting this decision affects "next year's show."
The cancellation announcement comes just six weeks after the lineup reveal and joins a growing trend of music festivals facing challenges due to mounting costs in 2024 and 2025.
