Roots Picnic 2025 Lineup: D'Angelo, Lenny Kravitz, and Meek Mill Headline Philadelphia Festival
The Roots Picnic festival is returning to Philadelphia's The Mann in Fairmount Park for 2025, featuring an impressive lineup of musical talent.
D'Angelo will headline alongside The Roots, while rock legend Lenny Kravitz will perform hits spanning his career and tracks from his latest album "Blue Electric Light." Philadelphia native Meek Mill makes his festival debut this year.

Last year's sold-out event featured performances by André 3000, Gunna, Jill Scott, and Lil Wayne, earning praise from Rolling Stone as "a bountiful celebration of Black music." The Philadelphia Inquirer deemed it a "smashing success and central part of the cultural life of Philadelphia."
The Roots received special recognition from Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro for their contributions to Philadelphia's arts, education, and economy during the 2024 festival.
