Written and produced between May and November 2024, the album blends classic influences like The Beatles and David Bowie with modern synth-pop elements. Standout tracks include "Oceans," which Duane describes as his "most honest song," and the humorous "Lost My Cell Phone," demonstrating his versatility as a songwriter.
Opening track "It Wasn't Me" sets the tone with cinematic storytelling, while songs like "Miles Away" showcase Duane's ability to craft emotionally resonant music. Each track represents different aspects of human experience, from imagined relationships to deep introspection.
Duane's musical journey includes founding the Backslap Blues Band, known for their historic performance at Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel, and collaborating with Jim Hall on the Cold Shivers project. His accomplishments include a runner-up nomination for Singer-Songwriter of the Year at the Limelight Magazine Music Awards.
"Credibility" is available on Spotify and Bandcamp, offering listeners a profound musical experience that combines raw emotion with expert craftsmanship.
