Netflix Reveals New Avicii Documentary Narrated Through Artist's Own Words
Netflix will release "I'm Tim," a new documentary about late EDM producer and DJ Avicii, on December 31. The film features narration from Avicii himself (Tim Bergling) through previously recorded interviews before his death in 2018.

The documentary, directed by Henrik Burman and produced by Björn Tjärnberg, chronicles Bergling's journey from his early days in Sweden to his rise as a global EDM superstar. It includes interviews with his parents, friends, colleagues, and fellow artists.
Additionally, Netflix will stream Avicii's final performance at Ushuaïa Ibiza from August 2016, which was his last live show before retiring from touring at age 26.
The film joins other recent Avicii tributes, including:
- A photobook documenting his life and career
- A biography titled "Tim" by Måns Mosesson
- The sale of 75% of his music catalog to Pophouse
- A charity auction benefiting the Tim Bergling Foundation for mental health awareness
This new documentary follows the 2017 film "Avicii: True Stories" and continues to honor the legacy of the influential artist who shaped modern electronic dance music.
