NAMM Welcomes Eight New Board Members for 2025 Term

The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) has elected eight new board members who will serve three-year terms from 2025 through January 2028. These directors will help guide NAMM's vision, mission, and objectives as part of the 24-member board.

The newly elected board members are:

  • Mayumi Allison, CEO, Hosa Technology, Inc.
  • Betty Bennett, CEO and Co-Founder, Apogee Electronics Corp.
  • Jenna Day, Owner, Day Violins LLC
  • Jeremiah Manriquez, President, CEO and Owner, Pecknel Music Co., Inc.
  • Tim Pratt, President and Owner, Dietze Music House
  • Thomas Ripsam, President and CEO, C.F. Martin & Co., Inc.
  • Tom Tedesco, President and CEO, The Music People
  • Hans Thomann, CEO, Thomann Musikhaus

NAMM President and CEO John Mlynczak expressed gratitude to these industry leaders for volunteering their time to guide the organization's future. The announcement was made during the annual meeting of members at the 2025 NAMM Show in Anaheim.

NAMM Chair Tom Sumner acknowledged the contributions of outgoing board members Roger Hart, DeDe Heid, Elizabeth Heidt, Adam Levin, Lana Negrete, Paul Tobias, Ray Williams, and Steve Zapf.

As the largest global not-for-profit music trade organization, NAMM represents over 10,000 member companies and professionals, supporting a $19.5 billion industry with a global workforce exceeding 475,000 employees. The organization remains committed to strengthening the music products industry and promoting the benefits of music-making.
